Working across drama, documentary and comedy genres for TV, Radio and the Web, Richard’s meticulously researched programmes on subjects as diverse as the career of Tony Bennett and the world of Film scores have garnered much praise.  Many of Richard’s comedy scripts, featuring an array of original characters, have been broadcast by BBC Radio.  He recently completed work on a new TV sitcom, ‘Stand Up And Be Counted!’, and the pilot film based on the series was shown to a cinema audience in 2004 as part of the ‘Made In Hull’ Film Festival and was well received.  He has also completed work on several drama scripts and the screenplay for a new Sci-Fi adventure series he is hoping to develop.  Richard is a member of the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain.

With his own array of unique characters and numerous voice-over credits to his name, Richard has been involved in assignments acros the media, including BBC TV and Radio.  Recent credits include the role of Joseph Boxhall for the National Museums Liverpool exhibition 'Titanic and Liverpool: The Untold Story'His commercial voice-overs for ‘Merseytravel’ and the ‘West Bromwich Building Society’ have appeared on radio, and even at football matches.  Richard has also recorded narration for training films and corporate video presentations.  Richard’s character acting talents have been featured in a DVD film and website for children based upon the book ‘The Story of Ted’.  He has also appeared as an actor in an award-winning short film, and on stage in an open-air production of ‘Romeo & Juliet’.  Richard is also an experienced broadcaster and has worked as a presenter on BBC local radio stations around the country.

Richard has enjoyed a long and successful career as a producer of programming for Radio, TV and the Web.  He is equally adept working solo creating documentaries on Film Scores, or studio producing a regular current affairs show as part of a team.  His varied skills-base means he can work very effectively as a researcher, digital editor, sound-recorder, camera operator, or even presenter!  In 2004 Richard produced a pilot film for his own self-penned sitcom, which was well received when it appeared at a film festival that same year. Richard’s radio profile of the singer Tony Bennett has been broadcast several times, and his interviewing style was even complimented by the singer’s manager.
